Pure cotton durable flame retardant FPK8006 is suitable for flame retardant finishing of cellulose fabrics such as cotton, linen and viscose. Even for pure cotton knitted fleece fabrics whose flame retardant effect is difficult to meet the standard, the technology can also meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) "flammability standards for children's pajamas (16CFR1615 and 16CFR1616)".
The pure cotton fabric treated with the pure cotton durable flame retardant FPK8006 has no afterburning and smoldering phenomena, and feels soft and meets the requirements of GB 18401-2010 for direct contact with skin textiles. The flame retardancy can pass Chinese standards GB 8965 and GB 5455; US standards CA117 (furniture sofa), TB603 (mattresses), NFPA701, NFPA261-94, CS191-51, CFR1610 (clothing), CFR1633; EU standards EN 531, EN 532, EN 533, EN 470, EN 469, EN -71 (toys); Australian AS 4824 and British standards BS 5852 (furniture sofas), BS7177 (mattresses), EN-71 (toys) and FAR 25.853, CAN / ULC-S109. Flame retardant products have low strength reduction, soft touch, and do not contain formaldehyde (due to the presence of formaldehyde in dyeing factories, renovated offices, and furniture, which makes the samples submitted for inspection contaminated, sometimes the free formaldehyde content on the cloth is less than 20PPM) APEO, heavy metals and aromatic amines, also does not contain REACH restricted substances (SVHC) and the following non-environmental compounds (Tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP), Tris (1,3-dicloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TDCPP), Tris (2,3-dibromopropyl) phosphate (TDBPP).
Pure cotton durable flame retardant FPK8006 can use padding when treating fabrics. Remove impurities on the surface of the fabric before finishing to prevent the presence of other additives, which can improve the flame retardant finishing effect. The amount of flame retardant FPK8006 should be adjusted accordingly with different fabric thickness and density.
